1. About TenderGenie
TenderGenie is an AI-powered construction tendering platform operated by Legend Supplies (Pty) Ltd, registered in South Africa ("we", "us", "our"). The platform helps construction professionals upload Bills of Quantities (BOQs), receive AI-generated pricing, and produce tender documents.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract to use TenderGenie. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Subscription plans & billing
- Free Trial: 7-day access with limited features. No credit card required to start the trial.
- Professional Plan: R499/month (or local currency equivalent). Unlimited tenders, all features unlocked.
- Business Plan: R1,499/month (or local currency equivalent). All Professional features plus team collaboration and API access.
- Enterprise: Custom pricing. Contact info@tendergenie.co.za.
Payments are processed securely by PayPal. By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly charges until you cancel. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
4. Cancellation & refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your PayPal account or by emailing info@tendergenie.co.za.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days.
- Refunds may be granted at our discretion for genuine technical failures that prevented access to the platform. Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use TenderGenie for any unlawful purpose, including submitting fraudulent tenders.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the platform or its AI pricing data.
- Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise platform security.
- Share your account credentials with others (each subscription is for a single user, except Business/Enterprise team plans).
- Use the platform to generate documents for projects you are not legitimately tendering on.
6. AI-generated content disclaimer
TenderGenie uses artificial intelligence to generate pricing estimates, risk assessments, win probability scores, and tender documents. All AI-generated content is provided for guidance purposes only.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all pricing and documents before submitting any tender. TenderGenie does not guarantee that AI-generated prices are accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific project or market condition. Always verify material prices with your local suppliers before submission.
7. Intellectual property
- TenderGenie, its logo, platform design, AI models, and pricing data are the intellectual property of Legend Supplies (Pty) Ltd.
- Documents and reports you generate using TenderGenie belong to you. We do not claim ownership over your tender documents.
- BOQ files you upload remain your property. We process them solely to provide the service and delete them within 30 days.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Legend Supplies (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any loss of profit, revenue, or contracts arising from use of AI-generated pricing or documents.
- Any tender you lose, win unprofitably, or fail to submit due to reliance on TenderGenie output.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Data & privacy
Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts. Users in the UK, Australia, and USA acknowledge that the platform is provided from South Africa and agree to these governing terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of TenderGenie after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
